    • Please pray for the repose of the soul of Christopher Gross, who died at age 40 of a heart attack without any warning.

    He leaves behind a wife and 6 children, the oldest of whom is 8.

    His widow and children live in St. Mary's, KS.

    He was an ex-seminarian, who spent some time at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary about the same time I was there.

    • The visiting priest from St. Mary's (Fr. Torzala) made mention of this today.

    That's absolutely brutal.

    I fear that scenario (almost) more than any other.

    I don't remember him, so I am guessing he came after I left.

    Anyway, how are they set up financially?  Did he have a life insurance policy?  

    If not, has anyone in St. Mary's thought of a GoFundMe page?

    • It's especially unsettling because Christopher Gross wasn't exactly overweight when I knew him. Now it's true I haven't seen him in about 16 years, but still -- 

    Physically speaking he was very average.
