  • Oh!  How interesting.  I haven't heard of the bruise to rib cartilage before.  I will have to look that up.  I have definitely had to hold my ribs at times when coughing. 😅

I noticed today that almost every other time I cough I think I actually feel a rib on the left popping in and out a bit.  So...  Maybe I have a fracture/cracked rib after all.  That would make sense why the left side hurts a lot more.  🤣
    More prayers for you!!! :pray::pray::pray:

Inspiring answer to Jesus' question. - Blessed Anna Maria Taigi 1739 - 1837 AD.:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Maria_Taigi

"... On another occasion, Taigi entered the church of San Andrea della Valle. Before the Crucifix, Taigi reported hearing the voice of Jesus Christ, "What is your wish? To follow Jesus poor and naked and stripped of all? Or to follow Him in His triumph and glory? Which do you choose?" Taigi replied, "I embrace the cross of my Jesus. I will carry it like Him in pain and ignominy. I await at His hands triumph and glory in the hereafter."[2]

On December 26, 1802, Taigi became a professed member of the Secular Trinitarians in the church of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane.[1][4] She frequented hospitals and especially liked to visit and aid patients at San Giacomo of the Incurables. Taigi experienced a series of ecstasies and frequent visions in which she foresaw the future..."

  • Had whooping cough several times when in my teens-40’s. I through my back out and had bruised ribs or stretched cartilage when 16. I was vaccinated twice for it and it failed to take, so I gave it up. Last time was at age 47 and I ended up leaving Mass it sounded so disruptive. I was no longer contagious, but the cough takes a long while.
Hope you’re all feeling better soon. Try to sit in the sun, if only in a window. Natural vit D really helps.

Oh, wow...  You had it several times?  I was hoping natural immunity would last awhile. 😅

The weather is finally supposed to get into the 50's and 60's this week.  I am hoping to take the little boys out in the yard at least for an hour every day if I can.  Sometimes I just sit on the front steps and let them ride bikes and play in the pea gravel.

I wanted to get them out more last week but when it is cold (20-40) it seems to aggravate the cough.

Thank you for this!  I have a great respect for Blessed Anna Maria Taigi.  😇

And thank everyone for all of the prayers!  I have definitely noticed an improvement since you started praying for us. 🥰

  • I want to sincerely thank everyone for all of the prayers.

I am doing MUCH better now.  The pneumonia is almost gone and the ribs strains and crack/fracture on the left side are about 60% better.   I am sure that all of your prayers have played a big part in my sudden improvement.  May God bless you abundantly!

Thanks for the happy news! Glad to hear it!

I don't know if these would've helped before, but they probably will now that the worst is over, they are the best cough drops in my 65 years that I've ever taken. They actually suppress coughs. IMO it's due to the capsicuм, but that's just mo.

Very strong, so strong that some people can't take 'em ha ha- Fishermen's Friend Original Extra Strong. You can get them on Amazon and if you find them to be too strong, break the lozenge in half till you can build up to a full one. They also have lesser potency that might be better initially or for the kids over 5.

Wow...  I totally missed that you said this at first and as soon as I looked at the ingredients list I thought the same thing about the capsicuм.  😅

Now I am craving hot chocolate with chili powder.
