Title: Prayers for Paddy Lyons

Prayers are sought for the repose of the soul of Paddy Lyons. Paddy Lyons was 90 years of age and was murdered a few days ago here in Ireland. He was murdered in his rural farmhouse where he lived alone. He was a bachelor.

Yesterday a man in his twenties was charged with his murder. A large crowd gathered outside the court. Hopefully a large crowd attends the next court hearing and that people will travel to his funeral.

Many elderly live in fear in rural Ireland. Attacks on elderly people are common. I have attached a photo of Mr Lyons, who was beaten to death in his own home.

May Paddy Lyons RIP.  

They say the young guy who killed him was on welfare.    What a low life to murder an old man.
