  • Well, one parent left the house for a week and is now back. I had hoped the "vacation" would help cool things off but, at the moment I'm not so sure. Thankfully, a divorce might not happen but, things are still looking ugly. At the very least I would say "s*** is hiting the fan."  So I'm rather pensive.

Please continue to pray for us.

In reply to Songbird: If a sort of sin is not the problem then it is simply adding to it. However, anyone of us becoming suicidal seems very impossible. I believe some of us could/would be if we were not Catholic. However, we might be too holy for that to happen
At the very least, one might wish for the mountains to fall now and then to cover us out of frustration but, that is not likely to happen...

  • Please, continue to pray for this wretched, dysfunctional family. It's PURE hell (as stupid as saying something like that is)... oh, no, there is no chance of divorce but, affairs are horrendous! I don't have words for it all!

Why couldn't Holy Week at least, of all weeks of the year, be peaceful?

It is probably because it is Holy Week that God is allowing you to have to bear this cross...
Be strong, and place all of your trust in God!  Miracles happen for those who have enough Faith!   :)
