  • Would members here be so kind as to add to their prayers my sister's husband who has been discovered to have cancer. He just retired and he and my sister were planning on moving back home after being out of state for 35 years due to his occupation. His name is Bill.  Thank you.
But one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, which shall not be taken away from her.

  • The results of the CScan came in and it showed pancreatic cancer which had metastasized to the liver and skin.  It's a tough one to treat.  Thanks for all the prayers.

  • Note from my niece: God has blessed us today with a wonderful surgery! The umbilical tumor was small and had negative margins so there was no need for more extensive intra-abdominal surgery. We foresee and pray for a speedy recovery. Please send up prayers of great thanks to God. And continue those prayers for healing since there is still a long road ahead.

We want to thank you for your prayers from the bottom of our hearts!

Chemo begins on Thursday.  It will be once a week for three weeks, with the fourth week off, and then once a week again for three weeks....  Indefinitely.  Sad thing is, he feels and looks great right now, is without symptoms, and the "bar" shows him to be normal; that is, no Cancer, but the docs insist on doing the chemo anyhow.  He behaves as if he's confident and not worried, but my sister says that she knows he's afraid of what's coming.  Right now, they are continuing with their plans to move back home and build the house.  But it has to be hard.
