Dear friends,
We have only just learned the circuмstances of Mirella’s death. She was having a meal and food went the wrong way. Attempts to help were fruitless.
We are thankful to God that she was able to be aware of her spiritual needs during the last couple of years and was happy to be visited on two occasions by a traditional priest who heard her Confession and gave her Holy Communion. Then more recently she asked her son to get her the same priest. My husband was contacted and he communicated with don Francesco Ricossa who passed on the message. We just heard yesterday that the visit was made, praise be to God.
She must have had a presentiment that death was immanent. We have been unable to communicate with her unless we visit in person, which of course has been impossible. This is more than we could have hoped for in the circuмstances.
So thank you again from the bottom of our heats.
