    • I received this e-mail from the Fatima Center a few minutes ago, which put out this information about 90 minutes ago:


    John Vennari is on the operating table.  Upon his return from his Mexico treatment - he was in such pain he was taken to Emergency. Although Mexico told him his cancer tumor had stopped growing  – the hospital here says that yes it has grown. His Upper GI closed down (a blockage) which apparently is what the emergency operation is about and I am told is a very serious matter.

    There is a possibility he may not make it through the operation and if he does – per John, he was told he will be in palliative care (basically awaiting death).

    We all here have grouped together to pray Rosaries for John and his family and I know you will too.

    God may determine He wants to take John “home” – but we pray He loans him to us for a few years longer.

    Will let you know when we receive any further news.

    Another notification said he had received Extreme Unction this morning.

    Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow.

    • Isn't that strange. I just was thinking about him as I was eating and wondering how his treatment went in Mexico (or wherever he went) and that he should be back home by now.  I'm sorry to hear this news.

    Will keep him in my prayers.
