On the occasion of the Feast Day of the Little Flower, I would like to add the following to what I wrote regarding my collapse.
The Sunday following the events narrated on my post published on the 5th of September, I forthwith went to Confession. My Father Confessor had traveled out of state, and so a visiting Priest heard my confession. He told me something very providential: "I recommend that you read the writings of the Little Flower, for she is to be a light for you in this darkness."
Exceedingly to be praised is the Lord God, Who even in our days, despite our demerits and iniquities, deigns to offer us the patronage and tutelage of His Saints.
I cannot express how efficacious the intercession of the Little Flower has been for me. I urgently recommend to all, especially those assailed by mental and spiritual afflictions, to have recourse to the patronage of dear Little Thérèse, as she liked to be called. She is an exceeding great thaumaturge, especially when it comes to necessities that immediately pertain to the interior life.
