  • I can personally vouch for Greg Becnel, he is an ex-seminarian friend, and he is a great guy with a wonderful family.
I wish I lived closer so the parents could socialize and our kids could play together more.

Greg is in the hospital and could use our prayers and/or support.

I can only offer prayers at this time, but maybe can do more at a later time. Five decades of the Rosary this evening for Greg Becnel.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

Please consider donating to Greg and his family to offset medical expenses and lost wages anticipated for the next several months. Most importantly, please keep Greg in your prayers for a full recovery.
I realized I should bump this thread. The high traffic and popularity of CathInfo means that even a 1-week-old thread gets buried pretty quickly. Once enough new threads bury it, it becomes out of sight out of mind and completely off the radar. Unless someone is specifically looking for it, that is. And even then -- it can be hard to find.

Anyhow, it looks like donations are still being made to the GiveSendGo, as recently as 15 days ago. AND it looks like there's good reason for that, because we're talking about months of lost wages, and a 1 week hospital stay. Those over 30 know how expensive the hospital is.

I compare the cost of health care to this analogy: a dozen neighborhood kids, selling & trading pine cones, rocks, beads, and other baubles with each other, and their "economy" probably has about $2.00 in change circulating around as well. Kids do work for each other, trade, buy/sell, etc. and that's what circulates in their economy. Now imagine one of the kids wants to buy a $10,000 go-kart. It wouldn't matter how much work he did for the other kids, how many pine cones he collected or sold, or many rocks he sold, etc. There is no way you can buy a $10,000 item with that kids "economy", even if he somehow managed to seize ALL of it. The economies are simply on two different scales.

The same goes for the average Trad family. You can be frugal, make your $50K or $80K a year, pay off your debts, etc. but health care isn't priced in normal person dollars. You could be hard-working and frugal for 40 years, and lose your entire savings with a 2-day stay at the hospital! It's insane.

What you say is SO true...

We have insurance and a health savings account and save at least a few thousand dollars a year which goes towards home births etc.   But two short visits at a hospital for a few hours each last fall ended up adding up being about double what we had in our health savings account (and that is after insurance coverage)...  We ended up signing up for a payment plan through the hospital to pay everything off within a year because we needed the health savings account money to pay our midwives sooner for our upcoming birth.

So, I can imagine that staying for days would be a LOT more expensive...
Prayers for this poor family.

  • Yes, given the situation I believe we should all pray for Greg Becnel and his family during this holy Eastertide. Think of how this impacted his family, their celebration of Lent, Holy Week, and Easter. And countless other things.
It should be easy to find compassion for a situation like this.

  • My understanding is that Greg's situation hasn't fundamentally changed at all.

  • The genocidal medical-industrial complex and looting insurance companies are an integral part of the Jew bankster economy.

  • One caveat: Beware. GiveSendGo's default is to tip themselves $15 so that they can also support admitted murderers like Karmelo Anthony. (See below)

Be sure to uncheck the "optional" tip!

Once under arrest a police officer reportedly said, “I have the alleged suspect [in custody].” Anthony proudly boasted, “I’m not alleged! I did it!”
