Our daughter will be having surgery on Wednesday morning to align her eyes. Any prayers you could spare on her behalf would be appreciated. Her doctor says about 2/3 of patients will be good to go after just one surgery, so we're praying this will be all she'll need.

So cute! God bless her.

Prayers and thoughts for Juliana and for the family. There are so precious at that age really any age but how we quickly come to their aid when they need our love, affections and security.
Currently have a 6 month old and I cant imagine anything more heavenly. Life is truly a wonderful gift and how lucky we are to partake in it all.

Juliana! What a beautiful name for such a beautiful little girl.
I am remembering Juliana to Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette.
Best wishes for the best of health to your little girl and may Our Blessed Mother and your angels make the minutes of your little girl's operation fly by for you and may your trust in Our Blessed Mother and the saints be rewarded now and in eternity.
And a note of reassurance: I know an adult who had this operation and it was more successful than he had even hoped and he described the recovery process as a vacation for him! May it be so for little Juliana!

Thank you everyone for your prayers! The surgery went as planned and except for some red eyes and a little grumpiness, she's doing great.
Yes, OPM, I've had this surgery myself (a few times unfortunately :stare:) and as the last was when I was 19, I do remember the recovery being quick and uneventful. I wore sunglasses for a few weeks, but it was only for the benefit of those who had to look at me as I felt just fine.

Excellent news! Do you think it helped that you've had experience with this same issue in knowing what to, and what not to, expect?
-
Great news, Mater! Glad it went well.
God Bless.
