  • Thank you so very much.

Just so everone knows, he died a practicing Traditional Catholic, having received Traditional Extreme Unction and wearing his scapular.

Thank you for letting us know this!

  • Deo Gratias. He must have been a great devotee of Our Lady to be graced with such an end. That is an end that I pray for daily.

  • Thank you all!

He had his Traditional Requiem Mass and burial this morning.

I have a moral certainty that he has been saved (even if he's still in Purgatory).  It's a great gift from God and Our Lady, the Scapular and the First Fridays/Saturdays.

I have made sure that all my children have made the First Saturdays shortly after First Communion (well, the ones who have received First Communion so far).  No matter how badly I might fail as a parent or how far they may wander in life, at least I know that Our Lady will make sure they're saved in the end.

Just saw this.  Prayers offered.  Never easy to lose a parent at any age.

I just love Requiem Masses!  That is so good about your father having made the first Saturdays and being so devoted to Our Blessed Lady!

I still have yet to make First Saturdays...  It is hard because I always have to work on Saturdays because it is the busiest day on the farm, and we are over an hour away from the chapel on top of that...   :-(

Maybe one day though, if God wills it...  :-)

My sincere condolences for your loss, Ladislaus. I will keep your father in my prayers. It is so good he merited the grace of a Happy Death. Thank be to God.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.
