How fast our lives can change. If only they had continued to treat her meningitis. How quick they are to declare brain death.

"JAKOB 10 & ANIKA 6 LOST THEIR MOM ON SUNDAY
We’re creating this Go Fund Me in support of our nephew, Chris Wyman and his two young children, Jakob, 10 and Anika, 6. On Saturday Chris took their mom, Amanda Louise Taylor (Mands) to hospital with flu like symptoms. She fell into a coma and was diagnosed with meningitis. On Sunday she was declared brain dead. Chris, Jakob and Anika spent the last precious hours with her before she was taken off life support on Monday. She was only 40 years old. Mands was their rock and they are devastated. Even though she worked full time she always had endless energy and love for her family. Chris is now a single dad who loves his young kids and has a huge responsibility to emotionally and financially support them as they navigate life without their mom. Who knows, they give a maiden name. Regardless the children still need prayers.
