Seeing all the prayer requests for those who are suffering, I feel a bit petty asking this, but today I was presented with a potentially wonderful job opportunity, and I would be so grateful for prayers. This could be an incredible blessing if it all works out.
The job is full time nanny position for my daughter’s pediatrician. They have four young children and their current nanny just gave notice she is taking a different job. They are really in need of someone flexible before the school year begins, so if it works out I will have to put in notice soon.
I would be able to bring my daughter with me, so even if the pay ends up being lower than what I make now, I would not have the major expense of daycare. More importantly, she wouldn’t have to be a day-orphan anymore.
I have been praying for a long time for a better work arrangement, so I want to believe this is meant to be. I am meeting with the family between jobs tonight, so hopefully it will go well. I am incredibly nervous, but very excited.
