Title: Prayer Request

To all my Catholic Friends here - May I humbly submit a Prayer request.

Last Wedneday - the vision in My left Eye became cloudy. I went to the Doctor on Friday and they Diagnosed me with a Retinal Branch Vein Occlusion. I was advised to go for a physical which I did yesterday - I was put on Blood pressure medication. I go to see an opthmologist on Wednesday.   As far as I can tell - there are a lot of factors as to whether or not my vision in that eye will ever be normal again. Please pray for me- and GOD bless you all.

So, they think it's hypertensive rather than inflammatory or thrombophilic?  If you don't mind my asking, how old are you?  BRVO is fairly uncommon in people under 60 unless there's a history of systemic hypertension.

Yeah I went to the Doctor - he thinks it was caused by Hypertension - they did draw blood to check the Blood Sugar levels - Put me on a Beta Blocker - I am 55 - I go to the Othamologist tomorrow at 10:00 and will await the test results as to the cause
