I've been reminising over my preVatican ll childhood.. and looking at photos of my first Holy Communion and Confirmation.

I thought the years were further (maybe my mother waited to develope the first Communion ones.

anyway they were dated 66 and 67.. My Confirmation was on my 10th birtday making it a very memorable day.

my cousin and I were discussing my age at the time and agreed that was quite young for Confirmation.
My priest was Father Rinaldi (was one of the priests who did research on the shroud of Torin) anyway

my cousin (who is six years older than I) think that Father Rinaldi made sure all his charges were confirmed before Vatican ll kicked in.

I believe so and am thankful!
