August Queen of the Heavens - An Exorcism Prayer by the Blessed Virgin Mary
Prayer origin: January 13, 1864. French priest Blessed Louis-Edouard Cestac (1801-1868) of the Diocese of Bayonne, founder of the Community of Servants of Mary and Bernardines. He was given a vision of the powers of hell unleashed upon the world. Our Lady dictated this prayer herself revealing that one should call upon the heavenly legions to combat Satan. When he asked if she could send the angels now, Our Lady reminded him that prayer is a condition by God to obtain graces. With approval of his bishop, he distributed 500,000 copies. In 1908, Pope St. Pius X attached an indulgence to the prayer. 300 days
August Queen of the Heavens, heavenly Sovereign of the Angels, Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech Thee to send thy holy legions, so that under Thy command and through Thy power, they may pursue the demons and combat them everywhere, suppress their boldness, and drive them back into the abyss. O good and tender Mother, Thou wilt always be our love and hope! O Divine Mother, send Thy Holy Angels to defend us and to drive far away from us the cruel enemy. Holy Angels and Archangels, defend us and guard us. Amen.
