  • Hello everybody on CathInfo!

I would like to share with you some very beautiful meditations upon the Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, found in an appendix in the exceedingly profound and sublime book addressing matters pertaining to the interior life written by Rev. Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P., The Love of God and the Cross of Jesus (trans. Sister Jeanne Marie, O. P. Vol. 2. St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co., 1951).

This would be perfect for the First Saturday Devotions!

Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.

  • Perhaps I may have posted this elsewhere on this forum sometime ago, but it bears repeating.

Here are excerpts from the excellent book on Mariology by Rev. Fr. Garrigou-Lagrange The Mother of The Savior and Our Interior Life, translated by Rev. Father Bernard J. Kelley (Dublin: Golden Eagle Books, Ltd., 1948), wherein he discusses the excellencies of the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

I hope this may help you in the recitation of the Holy Rosary, a devotion which is morally indispensable for the cultivation of the interior life in our tumultuous days.

  • The following are scans of ch. xvii. "Mary, Model of the Life of Reparation," in the aforementioned book by Rev. Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P., The Love of God and the Cross of Jesus.

The profound Mariology of this great Dominican theologian has helped me exceedingly in reciting the Holy Rosary more meditatively and fruitfully. I hope that you derive a similar or greater benefit from these very devout and learned pages.
