My current position makes me feel lots of anxiety and I just want to come to a conclusion

Be willing to let God lead you where He wants, in His time.

God is trying to make you more dependent upon Him by teaching you to accept living with a little mystery and incomprehension.

All you really need to worry about is retaining grace, not “positions.”

I have been having a hard time when thinking long and hard about stuff like Ordinary Magisterium and what would fall under it if the V2 popes are true popes etc. For example I am not sure if I can doubt whether the NO is Catholic cause pretty much every bishop who professes Communion with Francis says it is and that would fall under a matter of morals.

Trust me; I know how you feel—the last seven years, I have been bouncing from one spiritual crisis to another.  I have been listening to Bishop Sanborn, and he seems to be making the most logical, compelling case yet.

Those issues are WAY above your pay grade, and I very much doubt that God expects any teenager to wrestle through the weeds and come out on the right side of them, when even the very learned and experienced are somewhat divided.

What I do think He expects is for you to develop virtuous habits, confess monthly (+/-), pray daily, and worry about avoiding sin.

Succeeding in the latter will prepare you for judging rightly in the positional matters later.

There is no urgency in knowing whether you should be R&R, sede-whatever, indulterers, etc.  Your perplexities afford you the luxury of time and study (ie., you can’t sin gravely in a state of doubt).

Study this for a while.  Then you will understand how to come to right decisions:

Ps: If you don’t mind me saying so, this book has your name written all over it (particularly in the discussions regarding prudence and fortitude).  You will enjoy it:

It was once recommended to me by a good priest 😉

I'm older than you, and one thing I want to impart to you is not to fall into bitterness, anger, resentment, depression, etc.

I wish I knew this when I was your age that way, I would not have fallen so many times myself.  Once your mind gets entrenched into these thought patterns, it isn't easy to get out.

Good advice, Sean.

Sean’s right.  It’s above our pay grade to solve this crisis.  Find somewhere that you’re comfortable going to Mass and then ignore the crisis.  You seem to be of a scrupulous nature, so you need to stop the mind churn.

Here’s something that can help you be at peace.  NO new code of canon law indicates that you can fulfill your Sunday obligation at any valid Catholic rite of Mass ... so long as your spiritual good commends it.  SSPX have explicit jurisdiction for Confession so that you needn’t scruple about it.  Or you can go the safe route of an Eastetn Rite.  Once you’ve found a place you can rest your mind, just ignore the crisis and pretend the NO doesn’t exist.

I have been going to Eastern Rite for more than a year. I just will assent to some stuff like new rites being valid etc. and just never go to them and make sure there is always an eastern rite or sspx when I am traveling.
