    Quote
…His visionary skills began to attract attention, and from 1939 Alois Irlmaier was increasingly visited by people who sought for advice and information. He built a small hut for this purpose because so many people came to his property on the weekends. He offered his services for free and were completely voluntary. …However, that did not stop people from claiming he was a fraudster and even a warlock.

In 1947 Irlmaier was reported to the local court in Laufen by a pastor who accused him of fraud and 'jugglery', which was a criminal offense under the Bavarian Police Criminal Code until 1957. Irlmaier had at this time 15 previous criminal records, seven were due to accusations of fraud and the other eight times due to payment / debt difficulties.

During the trial two witnesses stated that Irlmaier's prophecies were contradictory and they did not believe him, while five other witnesses testified that Irlmaier's interpretations were correct. Irlmaier then astounded the court when he was able to describe what the Judge's wife was wearing that particular day and what she was doing right at the time without having seen her or indeed, having never met her. "“Your wife is now at home. A red dress is on and a gentleman is with her. Let's see if it's true," Irlmaier declared, also stating the two were drinking coffee together, and, it turned out to be exactly true.   A fraud conviction was therefore ruled out. The court also cleared Irlmaier of the accusation of juggling, since this could not be determined with the necessary certainty.

The court ruled, “In the present case, the court cannot make a clear statement that the accused is a juggler. Conversely, this is not intended to establish that the defendant's visions… actually arose from a gift of vision. ” However, the court also noted: “The witnesses heard, have confirmed the existence of the gifts of clairvoyance of the accused, and testified things so astonishing and beyond explanation by only the forces of nature, in a way that is impossible to define him as a charlatan.” This ruling can still be found in the Munich State archives: (BezA / LRA 208.026)

  • .
The German Irimaier predicted both Russian and Asian attacks, so each scenario is equally true. Neither scenario is ridiculous, but ony terrifying.
    .
One of our friends is a careful reader of Irimaier in German.
    .
Before his death that he predicted Irimaier expressed his happiness that he would not have to experience the visions he saw,
    .
That reminds me of Our Lady of Akita's warning that "the survivors will envy the dead."

I believe the Russian ones were into Europe and China into the US.

    That is my recollection too.

The Russian scenes were reminiscent of ricin attacks.

  • I didn't know that juggling was a crime.  :laugh1:  Maybe it should be.

I'll ask my German friend about the supposed criminality.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is a case of "The nail that sticks up gets hammered."

  • Irlmaier was a convicted criminal, seven times for fraud and eight times for failure to pay. That was before the case of jugglery.

At the risk of indulging or engaging the most malignant person here, I found this un-referenced claim: https://greatmonarch-angelicpontiffprophecies.blogspot.com/p/alois-irlmaier1894-1959-deciding.html

I found nothing to support his "after his death" claim.

    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alois_Irlmaier

Footnote #3 cites: Christian Einreiner: Strafrecht und außersinnliche Wahrnehmung. Die Auswirkung der Forschungsergebnisse zur außersinnlichen Wahrnehmung auf das Straf- und Verfahrensrecht in Abgrenzung zum Okkultschwindel, Beiträge zur Strafrechtswissenschaft, Band 9, Berlin 2015, S. 157.

But it is unclear if that footnote supports both claims, "der zu jenem Zeitpunkt 15-fach – siebenfach wegen Betruges und achtmal wegen Zahlungsschwierigkeiten" and "vor dem Amtsgericht in Laufen von einem Pfarrer wegen Betrugs und Gaukelei angezeigt."

In a peer reviewed paper, I would expect the supporting reference to be positioned after each claim, but then this is Wikipedia, whose co-founded (((Larry Sanger))) acknowledged recently is unreliable. https://larrysanger.org/2021/06/wikipedia-is-more-one-sided-than-ever/

I see absolutely nothing in the Jewpedia stub claiming that Irimaier's accurate prophesies were fabricated after his death. Quite the contrary, the stub states:

    Quote
Footnotes #1 is cited both for finding bombs and finding missing persons: Er sah, was er sagte. In: Der Spiegel. Nr. 39, 1948, S. 27 (online).

Footnotes #2 is cited for solving crimes: Peter Seewald: Der Erdball wird durchs All schlingern. In: Der Spiegel. Nr. 46, 1986, S. 114–118 (online).

In view of this style, a footnote  after each claim, it seems unlikely that Footnote #3 supports "der zu jenem Zeitpunkt 15-fach – siebenfach wegen Betruges und achtmal wegen Zahlungsschwierigkeiten" (the alleged fraud and alleged criminality), but only supports the pastor's claim of fraud and juggling that was rejected by the court.

Quite the contrary? "zugeschrieben" means attributed, and "nachgesagt" means "rumoured that he said".

But whatever. Nobody said that wikipedia says that much of the Irlmaier "prophecy" was fabricated after his death.

  • …Most of what he allegedly said, was invented after his death.
    .
    I addressed the above claim.
    .
You offered de.wiki as a source, not specifically for the fabrication claim, but the only reference you have offered says not one word about fabrication.
    .
If anything, the reference you offered notes that Irimaier was vindicated of the pastor's charge of fraud. One other reference that I brought to the table, parrots the claim, but offered no supporting reference.
    .
My tentative hypothesis is that the charges are just another (((slander))).
