In 1947 Irlmaier was reported to the local court in Laufen by a pastor who accused him of fraud and 'jugglery', which was a criminal offense under the Bavarian Police Criminal Code until 1957. Irlmaier had at this time 15 previous criminal records, seven were due to accusations of fraud and the other eight times due to payment / debt difficulties.

I found nothing to support his "after his death" claim.
