"Please pray for our good Bishop Faure. I was told today by H.E. Bp Zendejas that he has contracted COVID two weeks ago, and has been rushed to the hospital in Paris, and he is not doing well. If I recall, when he was consecrated in 2015, he was 74 years old, so he would now be 80.
It is amazing to see how many members of the Traditional clergy have been infected..."

He’s the Rector of the Resistance seminary, and the Superior General of the SAJM.  He’s the only one in the Resistance still trying to keep the old SSPX alive (eg., seminaries, congregation/hierarchy, same Rule/Constitutions, quarterly newsletter, website, etc.), and originally chosen by Archbishop Lefebvre for episcopal consecration.

He would be irreplaceable.

As I said on the other thread, why aren’t our clergy taking Ivermectin prophylactically?  He undoubtedly got it from a supershedder ... as most of us did.  There is definitely something going around that isn’t a flu ... as the COVID-doesn’t-exist-and-is-just-the-flu crowd claim.  I got it and it was unlike anything I ever had before.  It took me down hard for 3 weeks.  I was only 53 and can only imagine if I had been 80.  I had Ivermectin at home but wasn’t taking it regularly due to wanting to ration supply.  I did manage to get one dose in before I couldn’t keep anything down.  Perhaps that saved my life.  God knows ... but our clergy should be taking it.

Another update regarding Bishop Faure:

"Bishop had a CT scan this afternoon and the result is that 70% of his lungs are affected by lesions related to covid.
It was no longer possible to keep him at home, he had to be hospitalized.
We took him to the emergency room of the George Pompidou Hospital in Paris (15th arrondissement), because there he would be taken care of by a doctor that he knew well and that the ***** knew well.
We arrived at 9:30 p.m. at the emergency room, ******* is currently there with him and it is she who is taking over to manage the organization of his hospitalization, because, through her family, she has the contact with the doctor.
Bishop was peaceful throughout the journey; lucid, though very tired.
The slightest effort required a lot of him and he started coughing until he was at rest.
Morally he seemed very serene, probably thanks to the sacraments he received just before leaving for Paris.
However, it seems that his case was serious enough to become worrisome afterwards, knowing that he had already suffered from pneumonia 5 years ago and that his lungs were already weakened.
May Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal help him!"


Then this update arrived shortly after:

"Good morning Father. The Bishop had a good night. He needs 2 liters of oxygen, no pulmonary embolism. He was put on corticosteroids and anticoagulant. He is being transferred to internal medicine. So much for the news."

Yes- I was told the ivermectin did not work for him - I've seen this a lot lately. Ivermectin should be taken prophylactically or at the earliest onset of symptoms- otherwise it doesn't seem to do much good with this particular weaponized illness which I think is quite different than last year's disease. 
Pray that Bishop Faure is protected by the angels in the hospital and that only good and successful care be given. Protect him from all evil while he is there.
