... 'I heard the shots but I thought they were hits, like roof construction,' said Adriana Quezada, 39, who was in Walmart with in the women’s clothing section with her two children.
She said she saw four men, dressed in black, wearing shirts, moved together firing guns indiscriminately.
'I saw four men, shooting everywhere,' Quezada said.
'I told my son, those are gunshots.'
Her daughter, 19, and son, 16, threw themselves on the ground, then ran out of the Walmart through an emergency exit. ...
This excerpt in from a British tabloid: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7317905/El-Paso-police-say-theres-active-shooter-local-mall.htmlLiterally, ANYTHING is possible, although a British tabloid is probably the last place I’d go for truthful information! A reporter from the Daily Mail just happened to be in the Walmart in El Paso to conduct an interview? :soapbox:
You have to ask yourself: was there another group of gunmen involved? Apparently multiple witnesses saw three to four gunmen, not just the one arrested, and they were wearing black, as does ANTIFA.
Yes, we must be prepared and be in the state of grace at all times.
As a rule, I stay out of Walmart, Kohl’s, Target (of tranny bathroom fame), big box stores, chain restaurants, and go to local Ma and Pa places of I can them, not out of fear, just because I heartily dislike them. They’re bland, middle America “nithe” places as +Bp. Williamson would say. Even their Walmartian weirdos are the same, no matter where the store is located! There’s something about Walmart in particular that attracts weirdos utterly devoid of class or originality. Fr. Ripperger would say it’s caused by a particular demon, and I agree.

By this time next week the story will have changed a dozen times until the pre-planned codified version is made official. Then 99.9% of the public will conveniently forget
What is interesting is that this British tabloid had more information than did all the American Media concerning this mass shooting event.
They knew early on that at least 18 people had been killed.
Who gave them this information? FBI / CIA - MI6?
Saturday, in the aftermath of the El Paso mass shooting, near the scene, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX), a candidate vying for the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination, blamed President Donald Trump in part for the day’s tragedy.
O’Rourke called Trump a “racist” and accused the president of stoking racism, which he said could be a part of the alleged shooter’s motivations. ...
... Sanders blasted Republican Senate leadership for being “more concerned about pleasing the NRA than listening to the vast majority of the American people” and said that President Donald Trump has a responsibility to support commonsense gun safety legislation. ...
I dunno... personally, trying to avoid death is a good excuse to not have 100% information. And that's not trying to make light of the situation or be snide or whatever — running from active gunfire is a perfectly valid excuse to not have all the facts right.Agree. I’m not implying one should brazenly stride into active gunfire. I was present during an armed robbery of a gas station convenience store. I didn’t know anything was wrong until the guy shot out the plate glass window when the clerk didn’t move quick enough. I was behind the coffee urns towards the center of the store, but somehow, I ended up locked in the employees restroom, on the floor, squeezed in behind the toilet. I heard another two shots, then the burglar alarm went off. I don’t know how long I stayed there. It seemed like an hour, but I just prayed and didn’t move or make a sound until I heard a police radio. The cop banged on the door and ordered whomever was inside to come out. I figured I’d better speak up. When I unlocked the door the cops were ready and waiting despite the fact that I’d identified myself as a frightened customer, unarmed. I had actually seen the man who had fled on foot without the money. I ended up having to give a description, contact information, and so on. The female clerk was so hysterical they took her in an ambulance, and the male clerk cut his leg on the glass. The manager showed up to finish business with the police. I got in my car and drove home. I went right to bed because I had to be at work in three hours. I slept for maybe an hour and woke up in a panic, having dreamed the episode. It was then I noticed my forearm hurt. I had a flaming red burn from where I’d spilled my coffee. Strange, but I didn’t feel anything until hours later. I worked 10 hours, then decided to go to the walk-in clinic because my arm was really hurting. When I peeled back the long sleeve cotton shirt I’d put on beneath my blouse, my skin had lots of little oozing blisters. Turns out it was 2nd and some 3rd degree scalding burns. I was just plain mad at the inconvenience and expense. After Mass on Sunday, four days after the experience, I suddenly started bawling like a baby and had to go outside. A couple of friends hung out with me until I got it out of my system. The emotional reaction was delayed by days. That’s typical of me, to have a delayed or no overt reaction to a traumatic event. I’ve never reacted to 9-11, although I was in the city that day, mid-town, and saw, breathed the smoke, saw the place where the towers should have been but were just missing. I managed to get out of Manhattan to Queens and had to walk the five miles home.
I just saw that there was a mass shooting in Dayton, OH (2 hrs E of us), only 12 hrs after the El Paso shooting.Add another to the No Go List. Insane because the demons are let loose. May I suggest we should expect a long run of shootings, crimes involving innocent bystanders, various crises leading up to the election. The Dems have NOTHING & NOBODY to offer, and they know it. They’ll resort to anything, no matter what. Some of the Reps actually take delight in the mayhem because they’re able to convince people they have the answers. Reality is that the only good government is a monarchy under Christ the King. Yes, I agree w/Fr. Hewko on that one, wherever he is.
People are insane!
This is no longer an active shooter situation. What logical thinking person would even consider gravitating toward the el peso area?
People are advised not to come to this area.
Situation is contained.
Where are the scooters for the super morbidly obese who go on a last spree before going to Dr. Now?
BTW, One thing is missing in the Walmart picture. Where are the scooters for the super morbidly obese who go on a last spree before going to Dr. Now?
Even though I am here in Alberta amongst the weak kneed socialist snowflakes (in the urban centres anyway. Rural folk are the heart and salt of this region) I have to control the urge to go buy more ammo, for the day of civility's end draws nigh.
You surely know a person can never have too much ammo, but let it be known that you can never have too much gun lubricant/cleaner.Very wise words, very true ;) I confess I have enough gun lubricant. I have noticed though that many large ammo dealers in Canada are lowing low on stock on many things. The economy biteth royally alas so it is a slow market.
