Pope to release "Universal Indult" for TLM?

I know worldwide the number of priests has actually increased in the Church, but what would compensate for that growth outside of the U.S. and much of Europe? Are most priests outside the U.S. and Europe actually genuine in keeping with the Catholic faith, or is there another factor involved? :jumping2:

That's an interesting question.

Of course, not being well-travelled, I am not fit to answer it.

But I do know that the error of Modernism has spread through the whole world, and that the morals of Europe are worse than the USA.

From what I understand the statistics comparing today to preconcilliar Catholicism don't look good.

Here in America. we're only converting 10% the amount of people we were before the council.

The number of religious has taken a nosedive since the council, diocese are running out of money and the Vatican is running regular deficits.

I know there's a (rather expensive) book called "leading Catholic indicators" full of such stats.

The 50 (?) page book is around $17.99, I believe. Kind of steep.

I think I looked for such statistics online, and couldn't find any. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, or in the right places.
