  • Ah, taking us back to a time when we had actual popes.

He made some mistakes, but Bergoglio makes him look like St. Pius X.

  • Does the Shroud of Turin count as a film image?  Maybe Our Lord is the earliest born person ever captured on film.  Or are we talking only about moving pictures?

  • What is the meaning of the hand gestures?  Is that the sign of the cross?  It looks more like a hand wave to me.  But I'm not that familiar with papal traditions.

I am not aware of any 'mistakes' by Il Papa Leo XIII.

Making Rampolla a Cardinal was one of the worst.  :laugh1:

He forgot to condemn Ladislaus in advance, for his lack of reverence against the Lord and his vicars.
That meaning of the sacred dogmas is ever to be maintained which has once been declared by holy mother church. (Dei Filius)

Ralliement (which morphed after VII into Ostpolitik) was the most notable, and in fact some Carlists at that time had Mass offered in reparation for this.

I stand corrected, although I had learned that St. Pius X was supposedly Polish in graduate school 20 years before Taylor Marshall published his highly unremarkable book.
