A man who attends our chapel has been dutifully bringing his 90 year old non-Catholic (but baptized) father to Mass for a little over a year. God's grace has worked on his heart and the 90 year old man will be making a general confession tomorrow (Saturday morning Aug 3). Please spare a prayer for his resolve.

Thanks for all your prayers, by all indications the general confession went well.
When I have a little more time I'll tell his story, which I think is worth hearing.

 Wonderful! One of my grandmothers converted from Lutheran to Catholic at age 85. She’d actually been attending Catholic Mass for decades, but didn’t receive Communion. My parents finally convinced her to take the final step for her 85th birthday!
If there’s life, there’s hope!
