  • In your charity, if you could please say a few prayers for my father who passed away peacefully Saturday evening, May 13th at home after lengthy suffering. Happily, he did receive the traditional Last Rites and Apostolic Blessing from our SSPX priest a few weeks ago when he was still coherent. He was 86 years old.

In His infinite goodness and boundless Paternal care, God also provided for him the traditional blessing of the sick about 2 hours before taking him from this world from this same priest, who arrived largely unannounced and unexpected and strictly for the purpose of giving him this blessing! (he said he was pretty sure that it was his guardian angel who sent him)

Deo Gratias for giving my father the grace of a happy death - and I pray that I and all of you who pray for the soul of my father receive the very same providence from God when it comes our turn!

Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him!

  • Only 30 days into his eternity, and having died wearing his scapular and receiving the Last Sacraments of the Church, aside from keeping him in our prayers, the only thing I can think of left to do is have Gregorian Masses celebrated for him. An SSPX priest will start them in a few weeks, sometime in July. Deo Gratias!

Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him!
