  • [Note #1: I also posted this on Catholic Answers as well, but I would like to post it here as well because I know that you guys are traditionalist and could probably give me better advice, alongside prayer, than neo-Catholics.

#2: The traditionalist site being spoken of in this post is "Fish Eaters", but I didn't want to mention it before people started frothing at the mouth]

Please pray for the conversion of my High School. It calls itself Catholic, but it is far from that, as it teaches heresy (i.e. The Church was established by Constantine, Catholicism and Christianity are mutually exclusive, the inquisition caused the death of millions for not being Catholic, etc.). In fact, many of the teachers there have doubtful stagnate as Catholics, as some of them support abortion and gαy "rights" I also have a group of "friends" (amazing that I can even call them that) who all reject Christ completely, and even me mentioning the Church within their presence offends them. Please pray for them.

Above all, please pray for the sake of another of my friends. She actually embraces Jesus and does not shun him, but she has embraced heresy upon heresy. She believes that she can be a true Catholic without the sacraments ("I don't need Mass") and she has accepted the modernist/atheist/Protestant heresy that the truth cannot be known. This saddens me, and I have prayed for her conversion for a while now. I gave her a link to a traditionalist Catholic site and explained to her the errors that she has embraced, in hopes that she will truly accept our Lord.

Also, please pray for me to be rid of the vice of impurity. I have gone several days without it, and can't stop now. Please keep praying for me and all others like me to keep custody of our eyes!
For those who I have unjustly offended, please forgive me. Please disregard my posts where I lacked charity and you will see that I am actually a very nice person. Disregard my opinions on "NFP", "Baptism of Desire/Blood" and the changes made to the sacra

  • I will pray for both your high school and your friends. This is unfortunetly a common error among many people who label themselves as Catholic since Vatican II. You cannot be Catholic and yet support abortion, which is basically a form of murder and therefore a mortal sin against the Fifth Commandment. Be assured of my prayers.

    God Bless.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

Yes a fake Catholic school is a little bit like hell for someone who is a real Catholic.  My recommendation is to get out of there if you can.

  • What's depressing to me is that I think you might well see the same thing happening to traditionalists groups within a few decades.  The fifties mindset, the club atmosphere of these churches - it's going to be a special hell for children of devout families when the trads under bad leadership begin to apostasize.

  • Hello and welcome Daegus:

Please be assured of my prayers.

You have the right attitude: a prayerful attitude.

I will pray especially that you be not ensnared in impurity.

    Here's something I posted sometime ago: http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php/Prayers-for-Purity

It was helpful for me because I was able to memorize the indulgenced prayers and was able to pray them in time of sudden and violent temptation.

Just remember that the urge to sin passes with the moment if you distract yourself with something wholesome (like prayer, or reading good books, or algebra, or fractions, etc.). The bodies that are the objects of lust now will be food for worms soon, and the beauty that tempts us will become disfigured even in life with the passage of time.

Other than prayer and spiritual reading, thinking of mathematical equations and the reality of death and bodily decomposition help me when I'm headed for trouble in this regard.
Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.
