My sister's daughter just called me to find out if I knew what was going on with one of my brother's daughters. She received a text from my brother's fiancee's coworker that indicated that my brother's fiancee was at the hospital with one of my nieces and that my niece was being air-evaced (to a hospital in Phoenix, I assume).
The worst of it all is that none of my nieces are baptized, so conversion is the highest priority.
My niece just called me again. My brothers middle child hit her head at school and the hospital here is ill prepared to help. They frequently send patients to trauma centers in Phoenix.
Of course, none of these people are Catholic and none of my nieces and nephews are baptized.
Are you in need of a priest for your niece?
The SOP for head trauma is to sedate the patient, intubate, and administer a paralytic. Unfortunately, she regained consciousness in the helicopter en route. Unable to move or open her eyes, she thought that she was dead. She was considerably shaken.
I forgot to mention that she became a Mormon whilst she lived with her mother and then step-father several years ago. She is only 12 and she is already very well versed in all things Mormon.
I don't think she is attending their services any longer as my brother likes the Mormon "church" almost as much as he like the Catholic Church.
We will pray for your niece. everyone has the same trouble with family. Someone told me to put a green scapular under their beds for conversion.
And we will pray for you too because you are not alone.
