    • I would be grateful for any prayers you could spare for my Mother, Priscilla, who appears to be in her final agony now, and will likely pass away soon.  She has been a Traditional Catholic for about 36 years, and went to St Therese, SSPV chapel, with Fathers Jenkins and Greenwell, and also attended Immaculate Heart of Mary for over 20 years.  She's 80, and passing away due to complications from liver disease.  She received the Last Rites, continues to wear the scapular.

    So happy for her that her spiritual needs have been attended to by the SSPV.  I have been personally very impressed with their priests as confessors.

    • Sad to hear that Ladislaus, will keep her in my prayers. May Our Lady, St Joseph, St Michael, St Priscilla and all the holy angels come to her aid. Fr Damien Fox's mother, Carmel, is in exactly the same state, expected to pass away at any moment.

    • We went down this same road a couple of years ago.  My mother did indeed receive last rites (though she was on a respirator and could not receive ViaticuŠ¼), then actually rallied and seemed as though she would be with us for awhile, but shortly after New Year's Day 2024, she went into a rapid downward spiral and passed away three weeks later.

    Be assured of my prayers in these days.

    • Thank you, everyone.  As the end began to draw near, she said she was happy to go, and looking forward to it.  About two days ago she was looking to the other side of the room and talking to someone, and we asked her who she was talking to, and she said her guardian angel, and then she said "he's very nice".  At one point earlier today, she said "Help me, Jesus", and then broke into this huge smile and said that she saw Jesus and that Mary was there too.  Some years ago she had an issue with sarcoidosis of the liver, which then gradually led to increasing cirrhosis.  She was widowed about 9 years ago now, when my father died of congestive heart failure at the age of 92 (yes, there was a 20-year age gap between them), and then lost her son, my younger brother, Steve, a former STAS seminarian, 4 years ago this coming February ... who died of lymphoma at the age of 48.
