    • Please Pray for My Husband Tom


    Last Tuesday, Tom went into the ER with massive colonic distention. He was unable to pass even gas and liquid stool due to a narrowing of a section of his colon. He has had chronic colonic distension, along with his constant diarrhea. Because of this, his colon has been unable to absorb potassium, and his potassium levels are critically low. He is on IV potassium. He has a tube going through his nose to his stomach to release gases from his stomach. If they can not remedy the situation, then he is facing an Ileostomy. They would have to remove his entire colon, because the tissue in his colon is in too bad a condition to be able to take stitches.
    Please pray that I can find a traditional priest to give him the traditional rite of Extreme Unction. I am not sure who might do it, but it needs to be done soon. Thank you all for your prayers. God bless you.
