  • Dear All,

Please pray that my court date goes well Friday.  My neighbor altered his terrain and eased his burden of water into our yard and refused to pay the damages.  It is finally going to court.  He is a protestant "minister".  I will give him the opportunity to tell the truth under oath to the God he claims to believe in.  We are out $1950 and may not get a cent back.  He blabbed to all the neighbors saying he didn't do anything and has them on his side.  Then hid renting a house until he could sell his house because he was embarrassed.  My lawyer said he could put a lien on him selling his house until it is settled but he dropped the ball on that.

    Thank you very much,
    Lover of Truth

  • How are you out 1950 dollars?  Construction or legal fees?

  • Do you have pictures?  I pray you have a good lawyer.  If the terrain was changed, have your lawyer ask when that took place?  Witnesses who saw the terrain changed.  Maybe a contractor did the changes?  Prayers!

  • Which court are you hearing at? Civil? Do you have a lawyer? Be careful of Lawyers because they have oaths that they take that is above their loyalty to their client. Oaths to the BAR Association and the Court that the case is being tried at.

Sounds like the other guy flooded LoT's house, and if this happens during snow and ice, it cracks the foundation if there is a sidewalk flush with the house.  I tried fixing a similar situation at one of our houses, got to the point of using sandbags, pouring tons of filler into the cracks and then finally digging a berm.  It was really frustrating.

St. Thomas More, pray for us.

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • Thanks for the prayers.

$750 to divert the water.  Court fees, mold testing.
