Hi all. I just got back home from the doctor. He says I have a very weak heart and he gave me a few perscriptions. He also told me that I may need a heart transplant if my condition does not improve. I did not tell him yet that I would not get a heart transplant because it is against my religion because I believe it is murder. Any prayers would be appreciated, either that I get better somehow or that if I don't get better that I die a holy death. Thanks.

I am praying for you, Matto.

I had a full-blown heart attack at 49 and I'm still going strong at 69, so don't panic and be careful what medication you take.

Did this mention of heart transplant take place immediately on diagnosis? Seems a strange thing to say. Think about changing your doctor!

I too would be interested in your diet, but no pressure there. The main thing now for you is prayer.

Yes Matto, how soon did the doctor say this transplant should be done? And yes, get a second opinion! I personally am with you on your reason for not getting a transplant.
After getting a second opinion, locate an Alternative Medicine Doctor in your area and go see him, let him know what the other doctors told you. I've been to a few that were truly amazing.

Good. If I remember correctly you are in the NYC metro area, so there are plenty of excellent, reputable doctors there.

Thank you for all your prayers and please continue because I need them. The doctor did not say I needed a transplant right away but he said if things go bad that might be a possibility. Right now he wants me to take a few medications for my heart and take a stress test.
