So sorry you and your husband are going through this.  You have been added to my Rosary intentions.

    Thank you very much

I see you are in the Cincinnati, Ohio location.  I don't know how you feel about sedevacantist priests but they are certainly valid priests.  St Gertrude the Great parish is in West Chester, Ohio.  You could give them a call.

What about Fr. Gavin Bitzer? His chapel should be a couple of hours away. Any good priest would drive the distance (SSPX or else).

The Fr Gavin Bitzer I found via google is in Kentucky.  Are you talking about him??

Also, I am confused because earlier in the thread you doubted a priest would come 3 hours for a non-SSPXer.

Thank you for your prayers. The nearest SSPX is 3 hours away. I seriously doubt they will come a 3 hour journey for people who are not even SSPX

Yes, I was talking about the same priest.

    Marie,

I think I just figured out the source of my confusion:  you and the OP have very similar names and when you posted I thought it was the OP.

  • We had an SSPX priest drive more than 3 hours for a non-SSPXer. He used his day off and we covered his costs. Maybe not all of them would be able to pull it off, I would think it has a lot to do with how their days and duties are set up. But when you're dealing with the Last Rites it's worth every effort.

    No problem.
