  • Thank you for that extensive list from my hero, TAN Books. I practice Friday abstinence during the whole year but fasting is difficult for me. My work involves some physical labor and I find that at home I can maintain a fast but at work I actually become a little dizzy and also distracted from thinking about food if I don't eat a least a little something during the day. I prefer to practice other penances if possible.

    I would like to attend Mass more often but at the little SSPX chapel where I assist there is only Sunday Mass and First Saturday Mass. Hopefully we will have a father in residence some day so we can have Mass more frequently there.
    St. Jude, who, disregarding the threats of the impious, courageously preached the doctrine of Christ,
