    • When I am asked "who is your patron saint?", which would be considered my patron saint?:

    1) the saint whom you were named after at birth

    2) the saint whose name you took at Confirmation

    3) the saint whose feast day is the same day you were born

    4) the saint who is patron saint of the country you were born in

    • I would say 1 and/or 2. Some people aren't named after a saint, so their only patron saint would be their confirmation saint.

    #4 is rather general, since everyone in America would have the Blessed Virgin Mary as his patron saint.
