  • This is of Bandon in West Cork, Ireland.  But if you look along the side there are some other old films also - Cologne in 1947, Wales in 1925, etc.

  • Touching, indeed! I fondly remember being a flower strewer, one of a privileged select group of little girls who would walk ahead of the Blessed Sacrament with baskets of rose petals "for Jesus to walk on". We wore long white dresses with veils, while the other girls wore short white dresses.
