  • Don’t know much about this or its provenance, but it’s called, The Grounds Of The Catholick Doctrine, Contained In The Profession Of Faith, Published by Pope Pius IV, By Way Of Question And Answer:

I’ve just read it in spots, but it seems very good. If I have my Roman Numerals right, it looks to be punished in 1775.
Rom. 3:25 Whom God hath proposed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to the shewing of his justice, for the remission of former sins"

Apoc 17:17 For God hath given into their hearts to do that which pleaseth him: that they give their kingdom to the beast, till the words of God be fulfilled.

You’ll get used to that rather quickly.

  • Seems to be almost entirely an anti-Prot catechism ... based primarily on citations from Sacred Scripture (given that it's all the Prots were accepting).

Given that time in England, the catechism probably had to be written that way, to combat the Protestant errors to which Catholics were exposed incessantly.

More recently, Radio Replies was much the same way.
