  • Does anyone have a reference that Simon of Cyrene converted and is considered a Saint in the Catholic Church? I believe the Orthodox hold him to be a saint, but not the Church as I can’t find any proof to support that claim.

  • I've heard a few things about him. This is from "A History of the Passion" by Fr. Groenings, a book I highly recommend.

    .

Hmm. Well, he might not be a martyr, but the book says he became a saint.
