We've lost a lot of posters lately because it's just too frustrating to connect and our time is not to be wasted.
Sad to say but when posters slack off they find other activities to fill their time...and absence makes the heart go wander...permanently

What I'm going to say right now has nothing to do with this particular forum. It has to do with my general sense of wanting to wander away permanently from every single thing in the trad space. Everything. I'm bored. I'm sick of it. It's the same old thing over and over and over again, except maybe a new permutation here, a new fragrance there, a new hairdo yonder. But it's always the same organism. Really only God can do anything about this now. Human beings are useless. I check in here and there just for kicks and giggles when I'm digesting a bolus of nutrients, or taking a load off. But more and more the only places I feel alive and stimulated are prayer, study, and a few simple friends and pleasures.

If the problem is with bot visits, you can get a free Cloudflare account, set up routing through Cloudflare and turn on bot-blocking or bot throttling or perhaps limit visits to coming from certain bots that might be doing indexing for search engines.  I've set up some Cloudflare stuff and it's fairly easy.
Yes, bot visits are the problem. He manually blocks one demographic of bots and soon after, another wave comes in. It seems that a constant monitoring service like Cloudflare would work, but I believe these are subscription based and cost money.

Cloudflare is free for most uses.  I have some Cloudflare stuff set up and it's free for very substantial amount of traffic.
