This premise is incorrect even in a Catholic conclave, but for a Nonclave made up of NonCardinals, it's especially false, and thus probably the thumbs downs.

Even if the wording is not perfect, wouldn't praying for the Holy Ghost to give us an "outcome that will be most beneficial to our souls" be a good thing?

It is very frustrating when people say they dislike something without an explanation, because how can a person grow if they do not know what was wrong in the first place.
