  • Alma Marie decided to brighten her little teensy corner of the world here yesterday, just in time for Christmas. So, that makes 5 girls here, and two boys. God must really think I can do better with girls. I'll just pray and take His word for it.

Please pray for us, and little Alma.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

  • Congrats, PFT! I'm praying for you and Alma Marie. My wife is due with our fifth in April. It's a girl (according to the tech), so the pattern will hold true: so far, it's been girl, boy, girl, boy, girl. To top it off, their birthdays will be April, May, June, July, and August. God certainly has a sense of humor. Congrats again!
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.
