We are expecting our third, due in about a month.  Due to some complications it is highly likely that we will need to induce within the next two weeks.  Please pray for the physical, mental, and spiritual health of mom and baby-- and of me, too, if you can.  Thank you for your charity.

I meant to update this a bit sooner-- thanks for asking.

On Thursday we came very close to being induced, but were not (spent four hours in L&D for monitoring).  The wife is a single diagnostic criteria away from induction (hence the medical professionals telling us, when I first made this post, that it would be likely that we would need to induce w/in two weeks-- that was at 36 weeks).  But she's managed to elude that criteria so far and they (to their credit) don't want to induce unless they have to.

So, gestation continues.  I appreciate that they are managing her conservatively, although at the same time it's been a bit of a rollercoaster with a fair amount of uncertainty (on top of the COVID uncertainty, which has led the hospital to constantly change its policies with regard to labor, support, etc.).
