There’s nothing wrong with using it for historical purposes, which is what he does with it.  It provides docuмentation regarding Jєωιѕн ritual.
I'm referring specifically to Fr. Meagher, D.D, in his book, "How Christ Said the First Mass" which uses extensively resources from the тαℓмυd to back up the practices and liturgical rites of the ancient Church.
Exactly. Which is precisely what I said^
Otherwise, if it isn't Catholic to use non-Catholic resources academically, literally all of the Scholastics and Fathers who used pagan philosophers aren't Catholic either.

Just asking about Meagher who "uses extensively resources from the тαℓмυd". Doesn't sound Catholic to me.
It certainly raises a red flag to me too, unless the author clearly explains that the тαℓмυd is of the ѕуηαgσgυє of Satan.

He does.

Fr. Meagher further justifies his use of some tracts of the тαℓмυd, for the purpose of explaining the details of the Jєωιѕн rites in the days of Christ.
