Author Topic: My mother is very sick now (Read 2125 times)

I just found out today that my mother had to go to hospital last week because of a blood clot in her leg. She has a hospital test marked urgent this week and is on medication for it. She has very little money and relies on the kindness of neibhours for transport to hospitals. She is on crutches now and cant go outside the house.

I am very worried and am staying up all night to do prayers.
I have school in the morning and dont know whether to go to school or to go to see her ( i live very far away). If I go to see her it will take hours to get there. I also have no money whatsoever and might not be able to come back home if I go to her, but on thursday I get paid and can get there and back. I have a travel pass that will get me there, but it is useless once I get to the city.

I fear she is going to die soon. She is not a practicing Catholic but is a broken simple woman after an unhappy marriage that ended in a separation. She talks to God in her own way and I implored her to speak to an SSPX priest. I am trying to get her to talk to a real priest but she is hesitant.

Having nothing else I can do and not knowing what to do, I ask for your prayers for her at this time.

Please help us. This is not a joke.

She needs to get a taxi everywhere now, and I know that this uses up her food money, because she struggled to pay the bills as it is, never mind this. I suspect that she has no way of getting to hospital this week for her appointment and is relying on God to provide.

It's a difficult decision isn't it? Why don't you talk to her on the phone and see what she would be happy with?

Are you the only relative? She is your mother, and do you know who these neighbors are who help her? Do you know their phone numbers? How do you know of her condition. Should you go? When was the last time you saw her? Priest? Is their one in the area? I would go to her. If you have these many questions, I think you know the answer.

I have said many prayers and implored powerful saints, and I will try to visit her today.
I know that I will have a safe journey because of the honorable prayers of humane Catholics on this forum, and of the saints in heaven. Feeling better now and looking forward to seeing her. I will get to spend a few hours before I have to come back. 3.43am tuesday now.

You people wont believe this. I spent all night praying for her and got you all plus the friends at school to pray for her, and then I phoned her, and she then told me the bombshell that she is alright after all. She says she is not dying even though she made it out to be serious. She says she does not need money and has people helping her.

AND WHEN I TOLD HER THAT I SPENT ALL NIGHT PRAYING FOR HER AND GOT OTHERS TO PRAY FOR HER - SHE LAUGHED AT ME.

If anyone wants to continue to pray for her, then invoke St Michael or other good anti-evil saints.
She praises the devil and takes pleasure in my suffering. She needs a complete change of personality to be saved, but she has not the mental ability to comprehend the merits of doing so. she is in no danger of death it seems, even though she made it seem otherwise.
