  • Please pray for my Grandma. She's unresponsive in the hospital. The doctors are giving her a few hours at most to live.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

  • Jen51,
Has she had the Last Rites?
Good St. Joseph, pray for her and protect her from a sudden and unprovided death.

  • Sorry to hear that, Jen.
"Never will anyone who says his Rosary every day become a formal heretic ... This is a statement I would sign in my blood." St. Montfort, Secret of the Rosary. I support the FSSP, the SSPX and other priests who work for the restoration of doctrinal orthodoxy and liturgical orthopraxis in the Church. I accept Vatican II if interpreted in the light of Tradition and canonisations as an infallible declaration that a person is in Heaven. Sedevacantism is schismatic and Ecclesiavacantism is heretical.

No, she hasn't. She isn't Catholic. She's been Nazarene her whole life.

I've been pleading with Our Blessed Mother to gain my Grandma favor in the eyes of her Son all day.

Despite the doctors prognosis, she became stabalized somehow, and they have changed their mind that her death is immanent. It's only a matter of time, though.

She is in the late stages of Alzheimers, a cruel and ugly disease. She doesn't know anyone, and anything for that matter. She was already in the late stages before I became Catholic, or I would have shared the Faith with her. Since I cannot to do that, I have been trying to be hopeful in prayer and penance for her.

Thankyou all for your prayers on her behalf.

  • I have never heard of Nazarene as a religion before.

You can pray with her? I have prayed for her and will continue to pray.

Thankyou, Nadir. Nazarene is a Protestant denomination. I don't know if I could pray "with" her as she would have no idea what was going on, but I have whispered a few prayers at her bedside.
