Beautiful prayer. Joining mine for you, Simple Man, your Son and your Father.
It was lovely reading about how you took care of him these last months.
Thanks so much. I have been spending the evening in quiet reflection, and one thing I do have to chuckle about, is that the way I had to lift him onto, and off of, the portable toilet, several times a day, the past few months --- an idea he resisted until I persuaded him it was far safer than attempting all that in a regular bathroom --- one of the last gifts he has given me, are some fairly firm biceps. Let's just say I've gotten a little on the sedentary side in recent years, though as Southern men go, there are far worse cases. We tend to love our hearty cooking and our air conditioning.
He'd probably want me to continue lifting. He was always after me, to get more exercise, and to lose some weight. No argument there.
I pray we will all be together once again one day.
