I believe I did. Anyway, most of this issues raised against this great woman are presuppositions and conjecture. I love the statements that she "did not call for conversion", that is laughable. Do you know her private prayers? Do you know her private conversations? No. She could have prayed for others conversion to the Catholic faith everyday for all we know. Also, how many people converted to the True faith because of her actions? Probably more than you can imagine. Sometimes our actions do more to convert others than words ever could. I am willing to bet that by her work she converted more people than you will ever realize, just as her order does today, converting by example.

In my work with the sisters I know for a fact that before each meal they serve and before each event they organize they involve everyone in Catholic prayer, regardless of their personal religion. I love these websites with their holier-than-thou attitudes trying smear tactics and guilt by association techniques to bash a woman that spent her whole life in service to the sick, the poor, and the unborn. This frail 90lb woman had the courage to go before the U.S. congress and read the riot act over the brutal killing of the unborn and yet some yahoos want to tear her down over some inner spiritual struggles she was having. I don't want any part of it.

If she made statements that smack of religious indifferentism, then those need to be addressed. That's the real issue.

I think everyone loves Mother Teresa!

It is whether or not she qualifies for sainthood according to nearly 2,000 years of rigorous, holy scrutiny or according to a vastly different process.

Somebody here will know the numbers-JP2 made enormous numbers of saints in a few years compared to 2,000 years.

It called to mind that passage of the Apocalypse "made war with the Saints" because this "saint factory" was so shocking!

Also, the N.O. changed the dates all around and eliminated beloved St. Chrstopher (for example)

I feel terribly bad for poor Mother Teresa having been conned by that sɛҳuąƖ predator (but not as bad as for his many victims and their families, may Christ have mercy on them).

Nobody should dismiss the work of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, but the cause for sainthood might be a bit awkward.
