  • Which CHURCH-SANCTIONED, APPROVED apparitions of Our Lady have been:

    1) The most famous, by which I mean well-docuмented in the press AT THE TIME OF or surrounding the time of the event

    2) The most popular, meaning which one or ones have maintained popular devotion in the traditional sense and not just as a sentimental superstition (like so many compromised NO women who have a vague affection for the 'blessid mutha'.

    3) The most powerful, having the longest history of or most significant impact due to miracles?

    My guesses would be:

    1) Fatima
    2) Mt. Carmel
    3) Lourdes

Mention Bayside, Medjugorje or any of the Novus Ordo weeping-statue baloney and I will ignore your comment and encourage everyone else in the thread to do likewise.

True devotion to Our Lady is reflected in a desire to honor Almighty God as she has.

False apparitions always seem to discourage adherence to the right order of worship unto God and honor unto the saints and instead to foment misplaced pseudo-goddess-worship and heretical doctrines.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar
