  • How does the Palm Sunday liturgy usually work in a mission with only low Masses?
    "Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect."
    "Seek first the kingdom of Heaven..."
    "Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment"

  • Whether 62 or pre-55, the palms are blessed and distributed at the altar rail before Mass. All may be recited rather than sung. No procession and Mass immediately follows.

    Pre-55:  Palms are laid and blessed on epistle side of altar. Violet vestments.

    62:  Palms are laid and blessed on small table facing the congregation. Red vestments (later changed to violet for Mass)
