A friend recently sent me an amusing article he found regarding the liturgical issues of space travel, which sounds very silly, and was very tongue-in-cheek, but as I read it I did get mildly concerned. The issues do seem as if they could be annoying, and I was wondering if anyone here has ever considered this, whether this is just a pointless and silly topic, or whether it is at all worth considering.

Humans will settle on other planets but it won't be for a long time. This Mars One thing they say is happening in 2026 won't be ready by then, believe me.

Nothing big in space travel/colonization will happen until centuries after all of us are dead.
